Might attempt to submit something for the SketchCollab 2024! Never have sync’d animation with music before so that’ll be fun!

Just been working on Kitbashing on the side line these days for a project! Will post more build updates on that as they come lol

Anyways just wanted to make a quick post to say that and for those that stick around!

This was my final build for the new year! It’s a kitbash consisting of HG Sinanju, Sazabi and a GM! Making custom waist joints and neck joint are a pain but fun!

Been a while and I have been severely lacking in art these days but I try to at least get an hour of practice here and there.

Doesn’t also help I’ve been focusing more on gunpla as of late this year with addition of starting a new job too.

I entered a total of 4 competitions with my local hobby shops and then Gundam Build World Championship!

Although I did not win GBWC, there were a lot of amazing entries. Learned a lot from other builders, picked up a few tricks and even got myself an airbrush/compressor to step up my builds.

Holidays this time around are more or less depressing but getting by. Time really flew by and 2023 is already over.

I plan to balance my art more and attend a con next year to sell some of my work! Sent out a few apps to some future cons so here’s to hoping!

• Highlights of some kits/kitbashes I made this year!

Took some time to make a custom Gundam of my mascot Shiro Gaia. Dubbed SHG4

Got this green GBC the other day and kickstarted the beginning of a new expensive hobby lol gameboy modding.

Going to add a backlit mod, change the buttons and add a better speaker later

Been loving my custom gameboy that I got last weekend! All I need now is an ever drive for it!

Took a hiatus from art in January just to kinda reflect, establish goals and play some of the games I wanted to get to in my backlog. Come February and so forth I’m going to put full speed into learning blender. Mini goal is to open a shop this year with like Etsy or a website that provides the products just need to slap art on top etc.

Then get to more gunpla and custom building/painting!

Major goal is to either quit my day job or find something that pays more with better hours to do art.

Should be an interesting year!

Bit of phrase for this but I got this beast of a model kit for chrimbus. It’s the Evangelion Unit 01 model kit by MENG. Stands at 18inchs tall with a few choice of weapons. Bit pricy but worth it for the quality and how big it is. My only complaint is some of the parts are stiff, meaning you really gotta press them together to get them to fit. Other than that they do a pretty good job than what Bandai could ever do as far as color separated parts and undergate spurs.
